New Day New Painting
This week i have started a painting of a still life. In the still life their are bottles of different shape and color and a dark blue box. There is also a printed fabric surrounding everything. I have started by painting bold shapes in the colors that the objects are. I have also started putting highlights and shadows in the bottles and fabric. The Fabric is going to challenging because there are so many folds and many different colors. At this point i am feeling good about this new painting.

put a picture here of the setup and the painting in progress.
if u put a picture of your set up maybe i could see it. Showing and getting the folds in the fabric is a difficult thing to do. I struggled with it in the first painting. I think it is good that you picked a setup that has folds in it because it challenges you to push yourself to the best of your abilities. tackling with it now gives you more experience preparation for a future painting including more intricate or complex folds you might do.This means you'll become an expert and will be able to add texture to your list of things i know. Can't wait to see it:)
